#1 ranked 105-pound fighter Jessica Philippus (6-1-0) defeated #8 ranked 105-pound fighter Sarah Goodlaxson (2-3-0) by submission (Darce choke) in the second round of their 105-pound amateur championship match.
In her last fight Jessica defeated Leslie Lockwood for her first 105-pound championship.
Jessica Philippus fights out of Marshall, Missouri and trains in Sedalia, Missouri with Jose Vega, she also trains in Kansas City, Missouri at Grindhouse with Deryck Ripley, she also is cornered and coached by her husband Robb Philippus.
